Prior to further processing, the baked wafer sheets are transported through a wafer sheet cooler for 2 to 3 minutes of stress-free cooling.
Wafer sheet coolers of the type EPH are built in the form of an arch in order to allow operating personnel to walk underneath, thus allowing free movement throughout the production plant.
The headroom and width of these arches are designed to suit plant capacity and current requirements.
